In part 2 Baxter continues to
reveal how there is no separation in the Triune God and there is no
separation between us.
“The good Shepherd is good and He doesn’t do abonnement because His
Father doesn’t do abandonment and neither does Holy
Spirit."
Jesus has stepped into our darkness or delusion to reveal Himself. And Baxter unpacks several scriptures in John around our inclusion. Jesus prayed that we would know our union just as He knew and revealed.
Baxter also breaks down two thoughts expressed by George MacDonald’s writings
“Good souls many will one day be horrified at the things they think of God.” “God is not bound to punish sin, God is bound to destroy it.”
